Dustin “The Disciple” Pague has gold on his mind heading into 2024.
Pague is the No. 5 contender in the stacked Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship welterweight division. The six-time UFC vet is 3-1 under the BKFC banner. He’s currently riding a three-fight win streak, most recently defeating fellow fan-favorite Joe Elmore via unanimous decision in the BKFC 51 Co-Main Event in September.
The BKFC World Welterweight Championship is currently vacant.
“I feel like I’ve done enough for a title shot,” the heavy-handed Carlisle, PA product says.
“Who I fight doesn’t really matter – I just want the opportunity for my next fight to be for the title, or at least a No. 1 contender fight.”
Pague says it will be indescribable to have the belt wrapped around his waist.
“That’s all I’ve been envisioning since I signed with the organization,” he says.
“Look, I’m extremely lucky because I’ve got some very important things in my life. The wellbeing of my family is the No. 1 thing, my relationship with God is No. 2, and winning that belt is a strong, strong No. 3.
"I really want that belt, and I’m going to do everything in my power to get it.”
