Ben Moa needs only one word to describe his Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship debut at BKFC 56 on Saturday.
“Amazing,” he says with a big smile.
Moa defeated Bridger Bercier via third-round TKO in their heavyweight battle on the weekend at the sold-out Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, UT.
Moa has stepped onto the field as a member of a National Football League team and has fought MMA at a high level. But he says BKFC is in a league of its own.
“I loved every second of it,” he says.
“BKFC is extremely professional and organized. They took great care of the fighters at all times, and the fans were absolutely amazing. I couldn’t be more impressed.”
Moa, 42, is a successful real estate agent and businessperson in his native Utah. He isn’t exactly your typical prizefighter, but don’t be surprised to see him back in a Squared Circle near you.
“I absolutely loved it,” he says. “I should’ve been doing this before, but better late than never.”
