Markus Suarez made his BKFC debut on the first ever BKFC Prospect Series in Miami, Florida where he lives. He fell short in his debut but the striker is motivated to turn things around and contend in the light heavyweight division.
Suarez is a weightloss coach and also helps people with self development and improvement. He practices what he preaches with facing your fears and insecurities head on as seen in his wanting of an immediate rematch with Drew Nolan for fight his number two in the BKFC. Nolan defeated Suarez in his debut performance.
Suarez is a dedicated father and all of his interests seem to revolve around protecting the ones he loves most. Along with martial arts and hand to hand combat, Suarez is a big supporter of the second amendment.

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) is the first promotion allowed to hold a legal, sanctioned, and regulated bare knuckle event in the United States since 1889.

Rules
Fighters are permitted to wrap and tape the wrist, thumb, and mid-hand. No gauze or tape can be within 1 inch of the knuckles.
Fighters will “Toe The Line” There are two lines, three feet apart, in the center of the ring where the fighters will start each round. The front foot will be on the line, and then the referee will instruct the fighters to “Knuckle Up” this means the beginning of the round/bout. More »
