Towering Blake LaCaze stands tall at BKFC 36

Blake LaCaze stood tall at Friday’s BKFC 36.

The 6-foot-6 Monroe, LA product roughed up the betting favorite Brett Williams en route to a corner stoppage TKO at the conclusion of the third round of their middleweight showdown in Kenner, LA, LIVE on The BKFC App.

The towering LaCaze is the tallest fighter to ever compete in the BKFC middleweight division.

“My height and my reach is a huge advantage. It makes a world of difference when you’re in the ring,” says LaCaze, who stands a full nine inches taller than BKFC World Middleweight Champion David Mundell.

“The objective of fighting is to hit and not get hit, and that’s a lot easier when you’ve got my size and you know how to use it.”

In addition to his unique build, LaCaze also brings a lot of experience to the table, namely his 20 professional boxing bouts. He feels bare knuckle fighting is a better fit for him than gloved boxing, and he’s ready to make his mark on the BKFC.

“One year from now, I’d like to be one of the top guys in my division, if not the top guy in my weight class.”
