The Top Storylines for Saturday's Action in ABQ

Friday, Jan 26 2024 by BKFC Staff

It’s the first BKFC Fight Week of the year, and the world’s fastest growing combat sports promotion is kicking off 2024 on a high note with Saturday’s BKFC Prospect Series event at Revel Arena in Albuquerque, NM, LIVE worldwide on The BKFC App.

This is BKFC’s fourth event in ABQ. As always, there’s no shortage of intrigue heading into this weekend’s action in the 505.

The First BKFC Main Event of 2024

Saturday’s must-see Prospect Series event features an exciting mix of established fan-favorites and fresh-faced rookies fighting for a life-changing contract with BKFC. The can’t-miss Main Event highlights the former, as battle-tested BKFC middleweights Noah Cutter and Donald Sanchez do battle in the final fight of the evening. On fight night, Cutter will become just the seventh fighter in BKFC history to compete 10 times in the Squared Circle. He wants to enter exclusive company in style, but it won’t be easy – the hometown favorite Sanchez’s combat resume includes over 50 professional MMA bouts. With fighters like the champ David “Redneck” Mundell and “Platinum” Mike Perry sitting atop the stacked BKFC middleweight division, the 175-pound weight class is quickly becoming one of BKFC’s marquee divisions. Sanchez and Cutter are both hungry to kick off the year with a statement win in the first Main Event of 2024.

Fan-Favorite Females Meet In Grudge Rematch

With all due respect to Saturday’s highly anticipated Co-Main Event featherweight battle between Eric "Thuggy Bear" Dodson and Dakota “Montana Dak” Highpine, Saturday’s Feature Fight grudge match has combat sports fans around the world buzzing. Jenny "Savage" Clausius and Taylor "Killa Bee" Starling first did battle in the MMA cage in 2019. Clausius won that fight, and this rematch has been on both combatant’s minds since they both first signed on the dotted line with BKFC. There’s no love lost between these two fighters, so fireworks are guaranteed. The only question is if “Savage” will go 2-0 over Starling, or if “Killa Bee” will get her long-awaited payback against Clausius.

The Future Of Bare Knuckle Fighting Is Now

There’s never been a better time to be a BKFC fighter. The organization is promoting more sold-out events than ever before and entering exciting new markets around the globe. Athletes from around the world can become household names with BKFC, and earn life-changing paydays for their performances in the Squared Circle. That makes the BKFC Prospect Series the most intense job interview in combat sports. BKFC Founder/President David Feldman will be ringside in Albuquerque, and ready to award BKFC contracts to the night’s most spectacular performer(s). Saturday’s event features a full slate of young, hungry fighters that are ready to leave it all on the line for a coveted big league contract. Don’t blink.
