Ruben Warr is ready to make a statement at KnuckleMania

Ruben “Bad Boy” Warr stays busy.

Less than a month after his successful BKFC debut in Albuquerque, NM, he returns to the Squared Circle on Saturday against Andrew Angelcor (3-0-1) at KnuckleMania 4 at the Peacock Theater in his hometown of Los Angeles, LIVE on The BKFC App.

Some fighters like to take a little time off in between their bouts. That mindset doesn’t resonate with Warr, who’s now based out of Louisville, KY.

“I’m a fighter – that’s what we’re here to do. We’re employees at BKFC, and right off the bat I told them that I’m going to be the hardest worker that they’ve got,” he says.

“If you can fight again in 30 days or less, then why not? I want to be as active as possible.”

Short-notice fights are nothing new for Warr, who had a long MMA career before dropping his gloves and signing with BKFC.

“I was homeless for a time, so I was taking fights on three days' notice,” he says. “I’ve always done this; I’ve always been ready for anything.”

Saturday’s KnuckleMania is the biggest event in BKFC history. It’s fitting that all the stars, like "Platinum" Mike Perry and Thiago "Pitbull" Alves in the Main Event, are out for the organization’s California debut. Warr is ready to steal the spotlight.

“That’s what I do,” he says with a laugh.

“I stole the show on the Albuquerque card, and I’m here to make another statement. I don’t care how many fights you’ve got; if you’re at the top of the division, I want a piece of you.”
