Jimmie “El Terror” Rivera is ready to steal the show at the biggest event in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship history.

He welcomes fellow former UFC headliner Jeremy “Lil’ Heathen” Stephens to the Squared Circle at BKFC 56 on Dec. 2 in Salt Lake City, UT, LIVE on The BKFC App. BKFC 56 is headlined by arguably the biggest fight in BKFC history – “Platinum” Mike Perry (3-0) versus Eddie “The Underground King” Alvarez (1-0) – as well as three BKFC World Championship showdowns.

“It’s awesome,” Rivera says when asked how it feels to compete on such a highly anticipated card.

“This is a massive event with some of the biggest names in the sport. BKFC really did an awesome job with this card. There’s a lot of attention on this event, a lot of publicity – it’s going to be awesome, and this is an amazing opportunity that I’m really excited about.”

The BKFC World Featherweight Championship is on the line at BKFC 56 as the unbeaten Kai “Hefty Bag” Stewart (4-0) defends his title for the first time against Howard “HD” Davis (5-1-1). Rivera made his hotly anticipated bare knuckle fighting debut against Davis at BKFC 26; the action-packed fight was declared a draw.

As a fan of bare knuckle fighting, Rivera is excited for all of the action at BKFC 56. As one of the most dangerous featherweight fighters on the roster, he’s most excited to see Stewart versus Davis.

“This is a tough fight that could really go either way, but I’m hoping Howard wins – then he and I can fight again for the belt,” Rivera says.

Rivera has an impressive resume as a fighter, and he can’t think of a bigger accolade than a BKFC World Championship belt around his waist.

“There aren’t a lot of World Champions in bare knuckle fighting. This is a belt that you have to go out there and earn by knocking people out, and that’s exactly what I plan on doing.”
