Jared Warren hunting for another KO at BKFC 32

Jared Warren is riding high.

In Warren’s most recent fight in July, he beat the previously undefeated John Michael Escoboza via unanimous decision. It was the fourth victory of Warren’s BKFC career, and it prevented a second straight loss from appearing on his record.

“With that fight, I think everything was at stake,” says Warren, who’s now the No. 5-ranked BKFC Light-Heavyweight contender.

“Even though my fight before that (with Isaac Doolittle) was controversial, I was still coming off a loss. Fighting a guy who was 7-0, it was a big opportunity. If I lose, I knew I’d be irrelevant for a while. But if I won, I knew it would put me right back in the mix to working towards a title fight.”

Warren continues his journey to a shot at the BKFC World Light-Heavyweight Title as he takes on Jay Jackson (2-1) at BKFC 32 on Nov. 5 in Orlando, LIVE on the BKFC app

A knockout in November will be the fourth of Warren’s career and will go a long way in helping him climb the rankings, so there should be no surprise what he’s gunning for in Florida.

But for “Captain Deadpool,” it’s just business as usual.

“I’m always looking for the knockout, man,” he says with a laugh. “I’m always looking for the finish, it doesn’t matter what the situation is.”
