Carlos Trinidad is feeling good.

He’s now 2-0 in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship Squared Circle after his fourth-round KO over Tyler Jacques at BKFC Fight Night Omaha on Friday, LIVE on BKTV.

“It feels great to be 2-0 under BKFC. It’s a great company. Every time I go down there, it’s an awesome experience,” the 26-year-old Nebraska welterweight says. “It’s great working with them, and I’m just getting started.”

Trinidad has a lot of MMA experience under his belt. But he’s been a fan of BKFC since the early days of the promotion, and something about this sport hits different. Literally.

“I just really love to fight, man. I wanna fight, and I wanna showcase my skills. I just feel like I have the right mentality for it, you know? I’m fast, I’m not afraid to get hit,” Trinidad says.

“A lot of people really like the idea of bare knuckle, but they don’t really wanna fight, they don’t want to feel those hands. But I don’t care. There are other people who feel the same way, but I’m definitely one of them.”

When would Trinidad like to fight again next?

“As soon as possible. I feel like I’ve got a good thing going right now, and I want to keep the ball rolling,” Trinidad says, adding, “One year from today, I want to be at least 4-0, and I’d like to be on the face of a big card for BKFC.”
