Bryan "El Gallo" Duran is ready to extend his historic KO streak.

Duran is the first fighter in BKFC history to knock out his first five opponents in the Squared Circle. The meteoric Miami product looks to smash his way to 6-0 with a sixth straight stoppage victory against Louie "El Loco" Lopez (3-2) at BKFC 57 on Feb. 2 at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL, LIVE on The BKFC App.

In Duran’s eyes, he’s already extended his KO streak against Lopez, the No. 1 contender in the stacked featherweight division. The super-confident Duran says it’s just a matter of which round he ends it in – and he’s already figured that out too.

“This will end in the first round,” he says. “First-round knockout.”

Duran works tirelessly on his craft, but he says his power is sent from above.

“God blessed me with power, He really did,” Duran says with a smile.

“Everybody says I’m the hardest hitter they’ve trained with, and that’s why bare knuckle is the perfect fit for me. Nothing beats power here. I’ve got some tricks up my sleeve, but my power is a gift from God, and I’m always going in there for the kill.”

If Duran beats Lopez, he should take his spot as No. 1 contender at 145 pounds. The next logical step would be a showdown later this year with undefeated BKFC World Featherweight Champion Kai “Hefty Bag” Stewart (5-0).

“Kai can’t take my power,” he says.

“He thinks his wrestling stuff is going to work on me, but I train with the best wrestlers in the world. He doesn’t have anything for me. Kai Stewart has beaten everybody using his clinch, but that doesn’t work on me, especially once you taste my power.”
