Jake Bostwick braced for impact at BKFC 27 in London: "It's going to be absolutely crazy!"

Jake Bostwick says it’s pretty simple what separates elite bare knuckle fighters from everyone else in the sport – and he fits that bill.

“You can’t be scared of getting hit. You’ve got to be aggressive. You’ve got to understand how to utilize the clinch. Bare knuckle is its own sport. It’s different from boxing and MMA. It has to be treated with respect,” said Bostwick, a former top-ranked British MMA fighter.

With that in mind, Bostwick has been hard at work in Miami, grinding in preparation for his next fight at BKFC 27 in London on Aug. 20 at Wembley Arena, LIVE on the BKFC app. Fighting on his “home turf” for the first time in several years, Bostwick welcomes UFC vet and former British national MMA champion Chris Fishgold to the BKFC Squared Circle.

This is BKFC’s highly anticipated debut in the United Kingdom and, more generally, the European continent. With the Brit Michael “MVP” Page and American “Platinum” Mike Perry meeting in the Main Event and a loaded Preliminary Card, this is arguably the biggest event in BKFC history. These facts aren’t lost on Bostwick.

“It means a lot, and it’s going to be absolutely crazy,” he said with a big smile. “It’s a blessing to be a part of this company and show, fighting on such a huge platform in my hometown.”

What can fans expect?

“Me and Fishgold is going to be a bit of a car crash. I think it’s going to end early, by KO.”
